Luggage
Some information to bear in mind :
In the hold
Traditional labelled luggage bearing your name (inform the airline in advance if you are carrying outsize items such as bikes, surfboards or skis).
Authorised weight (excluding for children below 2 years of age)
- up to 20 kg of luggage in economy class
- up to 30 kg in first class.
However, some companies may have different weight limits for hold luggage. Exceeding the allowance given runs the risk of paying a supplement per kilo or per additional item of luggage (tariff varies according to the company).
In the cabin
One piece of luggage permitted , having the following maximum dimensions: 50 x 40 x 20 cm.
Any sharp objects (cutters, scissors, razor blades, etc.) or dangerous to flight safety (weapons, canisters, etc.) are prohibited in the cabin. Make sure you pack them in hold luggage. Should the passenger fail to adhere to these regulations, he will have the choice of either returning to the check-in counter to check in the articles concerned as hold luggage, or to relinquish them for good.
Most companies allow specific objects such as wheelchairs, folding pushchairs, etc. to be taken into the cabin.
Prohibited items
Explosives, flammable goods, corrosives, compressed gas, items prohibited by the countries concerned, etc.
Luggage collection
To reclaim your baggage, check your flight number and go to the corresponding baggage carousel (display monitor nearby).
Trolleys are available to you in the area reached.
Lost or damaged luggage
If you do not find your baggage on the carousel or if it is damaged, you must go to the baggage dispute desk in the airport.
Your carrier is responsible for your luggage and the necessary documents will be completed for an investigation to begin. It is essential that you show the stub of your ticket accompanied by the luggage receipt issued during check-in.
Your recovered luggage will be delivered to your home or be available at the airport (low-cost airlines).
