Security - Safety
Security is everybody's responsibility!
The Security Department's role to is ensure the security of people and goods within the terminal during public opening hours.
Qualified staff are present on a daily basis and carry out all types of specific activities.
Safety: a priority theme for peace of mind of travellers
Safety in the airport comprises 3 main missions:
Inspection and screening of passengers before boarding, inspection and screening of staff and crew.
Control of hold luggage (using X-ray) and EDS (explosive detection system)
Controlled access.
The creation of effective systems to control baggage is an integral part of current airport policy and ensures a maximum level of safety for passengers.
