Essential information
Health formalities
Depending on your destination, some vaccinations may be recommended or compulsory. Bear in mind that no vaccinations are compulsory for any of the destinations reached from Toulon-Hyeres international airport.
To find out more about health formalities, you can consult your doctor or call your airline. Don't forget that if your pet accompanies you, the health formalities of your destination country may require the animal to have certain vaccinations or undergo regulatory quarantine (for example, Great Britain).
Your health abroad
If you suffer an accident or illness outside of France and you do not have private insurance, you are responsible for repatriation costs. We strongly advise you to take out insurance with an approved company.
As part of your travels to countries within the European Union, the E111 form (obtainable through your social security office) may prove useful for certain items of health expenditure for which you will not have to pay (for example, medicines from a pharmacy, medical consultations).
For the United Kingdom, consultation with a General Practitioner is free. Students and company employees on secondment must hold another form: the E128.
