Leading port in Europe
The waterfront is a beautiful spot for a stroll, and the Erasmus Bridge offers an gorgeous view of the ships passing by and the city’s characteristic skyline. The perfect time to experience it at full intensity is during the World Port Days in September: sailing trips and cultural entertainment on the water and along the waterfront.

An astonishing architecture
Take a tour on the waterfront area to the Kijk-Kubus, designed by architect Piet Blom, great reflections of the contemporary architecture of the city. Le pont Adolphe

La cathédrale Notre-Dame de Luxembourg
Sa construction débute en 1963 lorsque des jésuites décident de fonder une grande église pour répondre aux activités pastorales et spirituelles se développant dans la ville. Depuis, elle est devenue une cathédrale au style gothique tardif où les visiteurs peuvent y découvrir des ornements de style Renaissance, des vitraux ainsi qu’une majestueuse statue de la Vierge Marie.

Pont de l’Iroise bridge
The Pont de l’Iroise bridge crosses the river Elorn and links Brest to Quimper. Amazing feat of architecture, this magnificent cable-stayed bridge opened in 1994 has the third largest main span in France, behind the Normandy bridge and the Saint-Nazaire bridge, and before the Millau viaduct.

Capucins workshops
At the same time district of business and culture, you will find there the old mechanical workshops of the Arsenal now rehabilitated as workspace and places of art such as the Médiathèque or the Fourneau (National Street Art Center). To get there, hop on the cable car and enjoy the incredible 360° view of Brest.
